- Position: Plastics Engineer (Plastic Injection Molding)
- Location: Hudson, MA (on-site)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (based on business needs)
- Compensation: $110K - $130K (Dependent on Experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Plastics Engineer to take a lead role in driving process development, technical problem-solving, and new program success within our injection molding operations.
This is a senior, high-impact position where you will own complex projects from concept through production—working directly with customers, tooling partners, and internal teams to deliver optimized, production-ready solutions. Your expertise will directly influence quality, efficiency, and the long-term success of our manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions:
- Lead development and optimization of injection molding processes for complex, tight-tolerance components.
- Own key customer programs—serving as the primary technical point of contact from design through production.
- Evaluate and approve tooling designs, modifications, and performance.
- Partner with tooling vendors and internal teams to ensure molds are production-ready and performing at peak efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and increase overall process capability.
- Utilize SolidWorks and CAD data to support product development, manufacturability, and quoting.
- Troubleshoot processing and tooling challenges with a hands-on, solution-driven approach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and leadership to ensure seamless execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering (Plastics or related field preferred).
- Deep expertise in processing, tooling, materials, and mold design.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (IQMS preferred).
- Proven ability to lead projects, solve complex problems, and drive measurable improvements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface directly with customers and vendors.
